just want to farm chaos axe. mostly dropped from mobs in FoW

wondering if there is any profession can solo?

None. There is not a single prof that can solo farm the entire FOW. Some builds can farm some parts however. Chaos axe mainly drops from undead. To my knowlidge there is not a single build for solo farming the undead. Shutdown, energy drain and good healing coppeld with heavy melee damage = certain death!

If its only the chaos axe your intrested in, your better off joining chestrun teams. The chance of dropping a gold chaos axe is lager and faster!

i don't think he cares about farming the entire FoW, just the Chaos Axe-ful places. a ton of profs can farm the FoW, as mentioned by blur. if you're going solely for Chaos Axes, i think you're best off using something like Witte's W/Rt located here.

i've tried that when playing on a friend's account, and it's foolproof and pretty quick.

if you want to do HM, try dualing it with a friend or hero, 600/Smite style. drops are great, and the Battlefield is amazingly easy. Spider Cave is a bit rough, though.

party with people and farm key then look for chest?

you don't farm for the keys, you have them on you. you need a runner build, for instance, one in the list :

PS : FOW might prove a big challenge in the beginning, just keep trying.

the permashadow sin build can farm ALMOST the entire FoW

you dont, you get them BEFORE you go in, as has already been said...

All the professions can solo in FoW to some degree. Adding to blur's list, Dopefish made a mesmer build, and remmeh made a ranger build. Sins can shadowform.

buy some keys from the merchant before you go down to FoW . ..

when ya go in flag him next to Ghost then run towards group and past em so they follow then reassign the flag for hero to safer area

E/Mo or E/Me Terra Tank with perma Obsidian Flesh?
Just dont aggro the rangers. Otherwise, any of those builds can kill most of the undead.

i always found the easiest ways to get chaos axes was from the FOW chests, so chest runs are nice but pricey.

but if you dont wanna do that, id simply search for a FOW farming build.

If you flag him behind where you spawn (Where you'd be if you just held S after you spawned) usually he won't get attacked...Use the hero flag rather than the group flag, because they'll move less then.

I use a 55hp mesmer build to solo parts of FoW (cam solo big parts of the shadow army, undeads,parts of beach and cave) the build is:
IW,PS,Healing breeze, vigorious spirit, SV,you move like a dwarf,balth spirit, Mendling.
